Russell Levin - S.E.P. #9
7"x10" Archival Pigment Photograph
Mounted/matted to 13"x16" museum board.
In a tradition that Edward Weston made popular and Ansel Adams made big (and it's still going today), I will be offering "Special Edition Photographs" (S.E.P.) of my work. Edward and Ansel both wanted to find a way to sell their work at reasonable prices and boy did it work. Ansel was selling them for under $15.00 until the late 1960's. Since then well over 25,000 of Ansel's have been sold and they are still selling them today, now for just over $300.00, still well below what a signed Ansel sells for today.
